Reflecting on over 40 years as a science communicator, and 50 years studying the Island’s geology, these walks are intended to provide participants with an overview of the Island’s geology and palaeontology and will be led by Dinosaur Isle Museum Curator Dr Martin Munt.

About the event
Reflecting on over 40 years as a science communicator, and 50 years studying the Island’s geology, this walk is intended to provide participants with an overview of the Island’s geology and palaeontology and will be led by Dinosaur Isle Museum Curator Dr Martin Munt. Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment!
Meet at Alum Bay carpark (their carparking charges apply)
We will explore the Paleogene sequence from the top of the Chalk to Headon Hill
Note: This involves many steps and a shingle beach!

Charge is Adult £7.00, Child £4.00, under 5's go free.
(Free for members of the Friends of Dinosaur Isle (FODI), but you still need to book to guarantee a place).
